This was probably the most widely circulated Western Electric telephone ever sold. It came in 10 colors and was valued for it's space saving ability. This was first produced in the 1960's and a cheaper electronic version is still made today. The old models came in both a wall version and a desk version and had the first standard wall modular plate which we still use today.
